I have just purchased an Asus Xonar D1 Soundcard and wish to install this in my Mac Pro, I realise that Asus don't support this card for Macs and only provide windows drivers etc.
will I be able to install this card into my MacPro and use it on the bootcamp partition only please?, anyone had any success with this. I do understand that it won't work on the OSX side of things but will installing it make booting OSX problematic , or will OSX ignore it due to it not being compatible.

Here's hoping some kind soul can answer this.

I only wish to use it on the windows 7 bootcamp partition which it is compatible with.

It'll PROBABLY work fine. Just give it a try and if it doesn't then return or sell it. I've found that most PC cards work fine in the MP, it's normally the OS that's the buzzkill.
