Hi all,
I recently replaced my 8800gts because it was failing.
I got myself an Asus 960 GTX, i installed the nvidia drivers, restarted, and it was all working fine.
I've some how managed to disable the nvidia drivers, because I can tell it loads, but there is nothing on the screen. I can access all the files from my macbook, so I know it's booted up, I just can't see anything.
My issue now is the old 8800gtx is so stuffed that it gets to the apple logo screen, the screen blinks, then it just restarts, and it will do this over and over again, and I can't get passed it.
Safe mode won't work. I can boot into the single-mode user, so I'm wonder if there is anyway possible to re enable the nvidia drivers via there?
Or will I have to go to an apple repair centre and just ask them "Can I use a spare graphics card so I can enable my new card"?
