I just upgraded from Mavericks (10.9.4) to Yosemite (10.10 DP7) and now my Expansion Slot fan is running super fast all the time ~1,900 RPM, and with Mavericks it was always around ~900 RPM and now the computer is super noisy, any idea on how to fix it?, thanks

Use SMCFanControl manually set the PCIe fan speed to 100%, give it few seconds to spin up, and then turn it back to the normal setting. The fan should slowly go back to the correct idle speed (800RPM).

If nil help, perform a SMC reset + PRAM reset. And then use this SMCFanControl tricks again when required.
