Hello everyone,
Was hoping someone might have an answer to an issue I am running into. I am running a Mac Pro 2010 with dual Xeons with a RX 580. Whenever I plug my second monitor into the GPU, the CPU fans ramp up, not maximum but enough that they are annoying.
Both monitors are 1080 Displays, one running at 120hz the other 60hz. Soon I plug in the second monitor (the 60hz one) the fans rev up on the CPU only. The temps are absolutely fine and the GPU fans remain at 0RPM (unless a game or something else that requires it is launched)
(CPU usage is fine too, nothing out of the ordinary)
Weirdly enough, if I launch a game, the CPU fans calm down..
Running Windows 10 only (Installed by DVD).
If anyone has any suggestions or possible answers as to what is happening, I would greatly appreciate it!
