Hello,
Month ago my mac pro 2009 was stolen from my studio . Few days ago police called me to come to PS to see if they found my Mac .
I was very happy to see my mac pro , but unfortunately logic board was broken .
I have opportunity to buy logic backplane board 2010 and i am intrested in possibility that this one will work with other 2009 Mac Pro parts such as dual processor board 2009
Thanks guys !

Sorry to hear about your Mac Pro getting stolen. As far as I know, a 2009 cpu tray may not work well in a 2010 logic board as the firmwares are different and may cause the fans to spin improperly. Maybe your option is to get a 2009 logic board since they have gone down in prices.
