I have, for various reasons, bought a cMP Server 2010 to act as backup for my cMP2010 workhorse; if it dies, I swap drives to the Server version and continue...

But...

I use OCLP to bring Monterey 12.5 up on my cMP, and all is well. It just works. If I try the same thing on the Server, it just doesn't. Has anyone any concrete views as to the logical differences between the two? The only thing I've found so far is that the case release can be padlocked but that's it as far as physical differences go...

To my limited knowledge, hardware is the same, only difference is a "personality: server"-entry in firmware. What it will do, i don't know.
If it affects OC, its possible to remove this entry by firmware-reconstruction. We could give it a try, but i'm sure it won't change anything.
