Have noticed some weird graphics glitches on my pro, was bought about 3 years ago and it's it's fitted with D700's. I use two thunderbolt displays on, it's got 32 GB memory and 1/2TB SSD (Both apple stock).

The symptoms are:
  • A singular squarish section of the display (typically around 1-2cm square) looks marginally corrupt - typically blocky but often with the correct content mixed in, often it has a mild flashing effect as well

  • It happens on either screen, typically middle to top right-ish on whatever screen it appears on

  • Happys more frequently if the machine as been running for a while.

  • Typically cleared with a reboot

  • Machine doesn't appear to hang or fail/crash
It's not killing me right now but inclined to want to get it sorted... praying it's not the graphics cards but what else could it be?

Thoughts?

there was a apple macpro GPU repair problem so best bet is to talk to your closest apple shop.
it was a free repair so do push for that if you can, if shop wont play ball worth trying the phone.
