I booted my Mac Pro (Late 2013) for the first time in a really long time, and the overall performance felt slower than I remembered... I thought wiping the Mac and reinstalling Mac OS (11.3.1) would bring it back to optimum performance. It's an improvement, but still not quite to where I expected it to be...

I'm currently getting around 270 MB/s write and 490 MB/s read (from my stock 500GB SSD).

Am I crazy? Or is there something wrong with my Mac Pro? I could've sworn performance was way better than this... Maybe I've just been spoiled by my new M1 Mac? LOL
 
Solved my issue. Ran some diagnostics and narrowed it down to the memory. I took out the RAM and reseated them back in, and everything's running good as new.
