Hi Learned Ones
My aging MacPro occasionally won't wake from sleep. It seems frozen- the white power light doesn't pulse. I turn it off and unplug and replug. This reset (?) process can take up to an hour to work, but then it always starts up. A one or two minute unplug/plug has never worked. I have good power from a dedicated line straight out of the basement circuit board. I have four internal hard drives installed. For a while I thought the drives were stressing the power supply so I would remove a drive and reboot. And it seemed to make a difference, but honestly with 2 or 3 HDs the same no-wake can occur. This stiuation has been going on for maybe a year or so.
Any advice appreciated!
