I have bought a new, powerful Graphics Card for my Mac Pro 3,1
Because the card needed more power than the two 6 pin PCI Express power connectors of the Mac Pro can provide, I have bought an auxiliary power supply to power just the Graphics Card.

The auxiliary PSU is connected to the Mac's main PSU via a 4pin Molex Cable in order to be switched on or off when the computer gets switched on or off.

In my case it does successfully turn On when the computer is switched on, but when I turn my computer Off, the auxiliary PSU stays on.

I have tested on a friends PC and it doesn't have the same behaviour. On the PC it turns off successfully as well.

I have tried connecting power to the auxiliary's PSU from both the Sata Connectors and the Drive Bay Molex of my Mac. In both cases the same results. It is switched on but it didn't switched off.

Is the Mac PSU still giving power to the above connectors, after I've shut down my computer?
