Hi, I promise I tried to suss this out for myself, but I'm truly confused. So I got a great deal on a Sapphire Pulse RX 580, which I plan to install following the thread on this forum to achieve a native boot screen under 10.13.6, and prepare to go to Mojave. But, as I'm replacing a GTX 960 hosting 4 displays, and use a GT120 as boot screen & hosting two 1440p displays, I am looking to find an inexpensive 1-slot option to fire the 1440p displays, boot screen not required, as it will be on the RX 580 using the patches.

Is this a viable option? The WX 2100 isn't listed on the cMP GPU Compatibility wiki, but it is listed under the @netkas thread discussing the SSE patch.

I'm just trying to eek out a few more months out of this rig; I had to postpone my 7,1 purchase because of contract and spending freezes because c19. Another ~$200 (less $100 for the RX 580) after 12 years is acceptable, but not much more.

EDIT: I note that the WX 3100 is only another ~$20 or so on eBay, and it would double the RAM to 4GB, so please assume my question includes both cards,

Any help is appreciated.

Rico
