Hey peeps, may mac pro won't load the boot screen after pressing cmd/alt when turning on, have the boot loader usb all done and plugged in and showing as such and also did the firmware update when pressing cmd+r but will not allow me the cmd/alt function.

I am trying to install a fresh copy of high sierra, i have every thing i need off the disc so just want to overwrite and start fresh as this is going to be sold!

Thanks

Andy

I do not see the "cmd/alt" combination at turn on.

I think you want to get to the Startup Manager which would just be Option (alt) key at turn on.
