Mac Pro 4.1 GTX 980 Issue

So - I bought a GTX 980, and it's unflashed. (I don't care about the boot screen). At any rate, when I run it and use it I get lower frames than I should be expecting. In pretty much any game - Even if I lower settings I don't see an FPS boost.

Today I ran GPU-Z and see i'm running at PCI-E 1.1 - Is this a known issue, if so how can I resolve?

Yes unflashed will run at PCIe 1.1.

Hit up MacVidCards and get your card flashed. You can run at PCIe 2.0 and feed the card with the 2 onboard PCIe power plugs.
