Hey there

I'm going through all the posts i can regarding the cMP upgrades, i have a 2009 MP that i flashed to 5.1, i'm about to upgrade it with x5680, i'm doing this also to install a newer OS, since i need it to install LIVE 10, the thing is i'm reading about people having issues with the High Sierra upgrade, and i'm trying to make a "to do" list with all the things i have to be aware of before doing the installation (i'll do a fresh one).

Right now my computer has 40g 1333 RAM installed, one EVO pro 512Gb running in a PCIe port, plus two other SSD in the common bays.

I also have an RME PCIe card installed. I was planning to install High Sierra in a new SSD and put it in the PCIe SSD card to boot from, keeping my old system in original drive just in case. But i'm afraid since i read about some units going into Brick mode after such upgrade.
