I apologize if this has been addressed but I can't seem to find a solution. I'll try to keep this swift and to the point.

Mac Pro 5,1
GPU is XFX RX580 8GB
macOS Monterey installed onto NVMe using Martin Lo package.
Smooth installation and stable.

Reset NVRAM a couple of days later, now there aren't any visuals.

Tried booting from USB installers made with Ubuntu without any luck.

I don't have a spare GPU nor a HDD with High Sierra or Mojave installed.

What can be done to fix this issue?

Thanks

Suppose your GPU is dead.
=>You would have to buy another working GPU...

Suppose your OC EFI was messed up.
=> You would have to generate a new OC EFI on USB flashdrive or SATA drive to test. (Remove the nVME PCIe adapter before testing.

Well, I hope the first possibility isn't the reality. As of now the fans spin whenever the machine is powered on, although they eventually stop after a moment. A blue light remains shining throughout, staying lit even after the fans stop spinning.

How can I go about testing if it's the OC EFI? I do have a spare laptop that I can use to prepare a flash drive for testing, it currently runs both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 20.4 LTS.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

If your gpu is damaged, there is a tiny chance that only one port is fully damaged, but hdmi or a second display port still works. -> Try other ports with different cables and, if available different displays/tv for testing.

Sadly I have no experience in generating OC EFI from a Windows or Linux machine.
On a Mac OS machine, things are pretty simple: Just run OCLP and select the configuration you want....
OCLP = OpenCore Legacy Patcher.

Resetting the NVRAM "unblesses" OpenCore so it won't boot and you get nothing on screen. Follow cdf's instructions for making an OC rescue disc (in the "Manually Configured OpenCore on the Mac Pro" thread) and use it to boot your Mac Pro. Then "rebless" your OC setup.

I'll take a look at the thread and give this a try
