MP 7,1 Mac Pro 7,1 RX7900XTX Saphire Pulse don’t try this at home.

Took some work but I squeezed it in barely and I wouldn’t recommend trying it but it’s running really well under windows 11 dual boot with the RX 6900 XT for macOS Sequoia basically only using the 7900xtx for gaming. Probably install resolve as well and see how it performs. I tried Bazzite first but the fans wouldn’t spin under load. I had to remove the fan enclosure and now it sits ever so slightly bent as the RX 7900 XTX sapphire pulse is just a little too long, but you can’t really get your hands on the reference addition as they were a limited run and I haven’t seen any floating about. So gave this a shot for the win.

I found the AMD reference card on ebay. It fits much better of course. But I am very impressed you managed to squeeze it in.
I notice your card has one extra power cable as well.

In Resolve, it should run very well. I haven't tested the card in Resolve. But looks like it is just as fast as two Radeon Pro W6800X Duos.

Thanks for sharing, I would love refernce but also hear they run pretty hot. While I did get the Saphire to fit it was not easy, thinkin of modifying the fan cage...

I also heard some complain about coil whine on the reference card.
I have not started gaming on it yet. So I guess I will have to see how it behaves. The short Cyberpunk bench did not cause any problem.
Your card have better results than mine. Likely because you have better cooling and an extra power cable.
