What's your overall experience with QS CPU? Apart from this throttling issue (resolved) is there any other problems? Is it 100% stable?

I didn't understand this, what exact part is disabled in the firmware, what specifically didn't work for you?

I use Oracle VirtualBox for emulation and it works fine so far.

esxi is failed to install on latest firmware
Isn't this installation problem general, and not somehow related to the specific Xeon series? As far as I read, those with stock Mac Pro configurations also have problems with ESXi and there are some workarounds to do the installation.

for esxi only for older firmware new firmware kill esxi instalation use impossible
Installation CPU was easy same like on Mac trash.

The only issue as remember was when CPU hit throttle then stayed ther until as remember restart ( test with CPU-Z long run ). That was reasons why use software for windows for fan control after create profile was ok or when do some task then also was ok. That CPU official was unsupported and i think don't have thermal profile
