MP 7,1 Mac Pro 7.1 won’t wake up.

This has been happening the past week. I posted about this last week but I don’t think I got a response. Catalina. Any idea. I just have to force shutdown.

have you tried enabling ssh login, and seeing if you can ssh in from another machine when it appears to be woken, but not awake?

I had an issue years ago with a mac mini where that would happen, the system would wake up enough to interact with the coomandline remotely, but the windowserver etc was freezing on wake.
