Thanks for your time. Mac Pro 8 core with 16 Gigs RAM. Turn it on......boots up and works flawlessly all day. At any time try a restart and it chimes but no screen appears. Same if you shut down and try to restart. Also on some mornings (after sitting off all night) you can turn it on, it will chime but no screen launches. After repeated attempts to turn it on it will boot and launch the screen. Once she's running all is good and runs all day long.
So now each day I do not know if it will boot and launch or not. I dare not shut it down or try a restart during the workday as it will not re-lunch the screen. It has done this for over a year and me thinks it is time to get to the bottom of this quirky behavior.
