hi all,

new to this forum. but need to ask a question. have a mac pro a7786 and it won't boot up off the OS dvd. it will boot up off the mac dignostic dvd, any idea's?

And what happens when you run the diagnostics DVD?

thanks for reply, but i had left some details out. it boots up fine from the digostic dvd and can run test and everthing pass. but when trying to boot hdd or os dvd the monitor go's black.
