Hi Folks,

I just replaced my Dual G5 with a 2.8/8 Mac Pro, and when shutting the machine down the 23" ACD doesn't shut off with it. After the machine has powered down, the monitor's white LED at the bottom right corner shines very brightly. I have to manually shut it off by touching the monitor power button.

This same monitor shut down when the G5 did - why won't it do the same with the Mac Pro?

Thanks.

I think you can go under preferences to change that under display under options.

You're right. It wasn't clear to me that 'Do nothing' for the power button means the computer will turn it off for you.

Thanks for the help!
