Hey I was wondering what peoples experiences of FCP have been on the MP? I'm still waiting for mine to arrive... But I was wondering if you would like to share your experiences of the soft on your machine!

Love My MAC PRO!!!! iTs excellent for Final cut. i still only have the stock 1 gig of memory but i figure prices will probably drop on memory within 6 months or so(i can wait). The only thing it still lags on is after effects but once i get ram that will be fixed! What are your specs?

I too love my Mac Pro. It works much better than my old dual G5! The renders are fast and RT stuff looks great.

However, I have been having significant issues with Compressor 2.3... Still working on that one. (it crashes the machine about half way through encoding a 2 hour video to MPEG-2)
