its an 8-core early 08 and the 4th hd is 500gb

Have you formatted the drive that you want to use for bootcamp? Does it show up as a yellow drive (like USB or Firewire)?

Mac Pro/ Raid Card/ Windows XP

I have an early 08 MP with four hard drives. I am trying to set up the windows software on the forth HD. The other three are RAIDED. When I attempt to install the software on the forth HD, the MP can not find the un-Raided HD.

Does anyone know If what I am trying to do even possible.

thanks in advance,

andre

try possibly booting holding the D key and selecting the drive you inserted upon windows installation.

or slide out the drives from the 3 drive bays load the windows disc in and the windows drive and install that way then set everything back up?

never tried with macosx raid before.
