Hey all, I was wondering how I would fare if I took my two SSD raid 0 boot volume out of my Mac Pro and stuck them in my dual hard drive enabled 2011 MacBook Pro?
I have lots of software I don’t want to reinstall, like parallels with windows, adobe programs, etc.
I could make a time machine back up and migrate from that if it offers some actual benefit. I have a CCC clone of the volume on a spinner as well.
Are there any issues with just plucking them out and dropping them into another Mac tho? I have moved hard drives between MacBooks in the past and never observed any major problems but it was always a quick troubleshooting sort of thing. Would I face issues down the road? Thanks for any insight or input!
