Apple claims my new Mac Pro will "deliver by Feb 18". With the rumors about delay (and I do have the 8800 card) combined with a 14 day return policy from OWC on their RAM, should I wait to buy the RAM so my warranty does not expire on the RAM while I am waiting on the Mac Pro to be shipped?

Do you have any links to the articles on this delay rumor? I have one that is supposed to ship at the end of the moth also. Thanks!

I saw that rumor based on the new video card. Regardless, maybe I am better off waiting until the Mac arrives. Any idea how far out OWC is on shipping their 8 core ram?

The 14 day policy is only if you don't want the RAM, as in return it. It has a lifetime warranty, so if something is wrong, you can always get it replaced. If you are sure you are getting a mac pro, and are sure you want the ram, then there's no reason to cancel.

Got it, any idea how long OWC is taking for shipping this RAM?
