Mac Pro Diagnostic Leds?

So after having my Mac Pro arrive pretty much DOA (lasted for around 3 days) I have a new one on the way. But while I was resetting the SMC, I noticed another button on the motherboard labeled DIAG LED (or something like that) I've been able to find documentation on these Leds for the G5 powermacs, but not for the mac pros. Anyone find any documentation on these or know what they mean? It could seem to prove helpful later on down the road if anything happens with my comp again.
