Mac Pro ejects Windows installation disk w/o any notice

I have Parallels 7 and I'm trying to install windows. I just bought an OEM system builder win-7 disk and paid almost a hundred dollars for it at Fry's. I put the DVD in the mac and the power mac early 2008 eventually ejects it with no dialog. What gives?
