I use my Mac Pro mostly to watch videos in Front Row and for the past year it worked perfectly. Lately though, it doesn't remember where I left off on TV shows or movies. If it does remember, it's from a previous time where I left off watching that show. Rebooting doesn't make any difference. I pause a show and then exit out of Front Row and a minute later go back in and there is no resume most of the time, it just starts at the beginning or as I said, a previous time where I paused it.

Anything I can do to fix this? Apparantly, my Mac problems lately haven't been getting answers. I can't be the only person to have ever had this problem here. Thanks

Have you tried repairing permissions? I know it's the usual catch-all solution, but it sounds like you might be dealing with a permissions issue here.

Also, what do you say to a trade: my iMac for your Mac Pro. I promise it's even better at watching videos in Front Row. It has a built-in screen!

:p

Already have an iMac, don't need another one.

I'll see if the repairing permissions works. It can't hurt to try.
