i have my prefs set to start screensaver at 3 min, shut off monitor at 10 min and sleep the computer at 45 min.
but it goes to sleep early, never timed it, but im guessing in the 30 min or so range.
i dont really know what i could reset or change other than the energy saver in the sys prefs. its not that big of a deal i just wonder why it could be doing it.

any thoughts thanks!

Is it actually going to 'sleep'? As in, does your power light on the front by the power button fade in and out? It could just be your hard disk sleeping

EDIT: Also, make sure there isn't any schedule set for going to sleep (it's a little option in the bottom right of the energy saver window).

it is not schedualed to ever sleep, it is set to wake up at 5:45 am though.

it is actually sleeping, not just the hd.

Well, haha, the only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is to double check your sleep time to be your desired 45 min and not some other time, but you've prolly already done that.

You could do a test though: set the sleep time to never and see if it still goes to sleep after 30 min. or however long.
