Mac Pro Graphics Card Problem: The connectors are too close!

My Mac Pro 1,1 came with a nVidia GeForce 7300GT and the 2 DVI connectors are too close damn for me to fit 2 cables onto. Why are they so close together? :confused::confused::confused:
