Hello,

I was adding the read and write permission to my user in order to run an application, then I made the wrong choice to use the option "Apply to enclosed items". I started to get some errors from files belonging to apps that where not installed on my hard drive any more, I had shut down the computer and now she I start I see the apple logo with a spinning wheel underneath but stays like that forever, any advise please?.

Thanks in advance.

Try to boot from recovery or a USB install stick and go to Disk Utility > Repair Permissions.
