Hi,
Does anyone managed to get their Mac Pro (late 2013) with Firepro D500 working with Oculus Rift?
I had followed the instruction here
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/oculus-rift-in-mac-pro-late-2013.1990790/
I installed Windows 10 Pro and installed the latest AMD driver through MxDriver.
https://www.mxdriver.com/category/mac-pro/
The installation of Oculus Rift went through fine without any problem and I was also able to bypass the page that ask to update the graphic card driver.
Then I started notice the headset keep on black out, the light inside the headset keep on going from orange to white. I can hear the sound but the image keeps on flickering until I can't see anything.
I thought it was the problem with the HDMI port so I bought 2 different Display Port to HDMI adapter and
plug the Oculus cable into the new adapter and the same problem is still there. I had re-installed the graphic driver, re-install Oculus Rift and none had worked. Anyone has a solution?
I am aware of the option of buying a eGPU box but don't have the money at the moment.
Thank You
