I, like many others, have experienced major headaches with my gear and Leopard and MacPro. I was advised to buy a M-Audio FastTrack Pro, but the drivers for this product are nearly A YEAR out of date. It's basically worthless, blowing out speakers and amp. Here's my question: why can't the MacPro sound output/input handle a DAW like CuBase 4, and what's the best solution in regards to replacement. Are there internal sound cards now? Ultimately, I'd love to find something with quarter inch inputs and quarter inch and RCA outputs. And I'd like to find a product where I can my MAC OS fairly up to date, and not have to wait months for drivers. Any ideas?

I've been looking for a possible internal solution as well.

So far, I've come across:
Lynx AES16e (~$700 street)
RME HDSPe AIO ($1k)

Maybe another member could offer more info? :)

Nanofrog.
