Mac Pro + Leopard = hard drives sleep when they shouldn't

I just did an erase and install on my Mac Pro on Saturday. Today I was doing the same thing on my Mini and I noticed that the hard drives in my Mac Pro were spinning up and down on a pretty consistent basis. I have the "put hard drives to sleep option" disable in the Energy Saver. The drives would spin down, stay down for about 30 seconds, then spin back up again.

Anyone else notice the same thing?

I have a Raptor 150gig, a Seagate 320, and a WD 400 gig drive in bays 1 - 3 respectively.
