Mac Pro Mid 2010 Running Catalina - GPU Upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their Graphics card to alleviate the problems running an older Mac with Catalina? I have a ATI Radeon HD 5770 and that is not very compatible. If you upgraded your graphics card to metal one what did you use? Thanks, Jacunivac
