So, my Mac Pro should be arriving tomorrow (fingers crossed) and I am trying to decide what I shall call it... please vote or give suggestions below!

Hartman,
Bat Guano or Jobs Guano,
Lothar Zogg,
Merkwürdigeliebe,
Hot Line.
...
name it with mythical weapons names like excalibur or kusanangi, or grea bulga, thats how I do it.
Pokemon versions also do :p

I've been naming my machines since I was 16.

Betsy, Daisy (when they were cows)
And now it's pretty much all names of the same vein:

Jeffrey, Uli, Nagelbett, Donny, Bunny, Maude etc. etc. ;)

And to answer the question:
Uli Kunkel

And being a nihilist is exhausting.

By coincidence, I'm getting a Mac Pro today and I'm also pondering what to name it. My old G4 tower was xocolatl, the Maya word for chocolate. My windows machine is camazotz, the name of an evil planet in Madeline L'Engle's book, "A Wrinkle in Time". I also learned the word tesseract, a four dimentional hyper-cube, from that book and that's the name of my quad-core Linux box. My shiny aluminum Macbook Pro is silversurfer, since was watching the Fantastic Four movie while setting it up and I use it a lot for web surfing.

Name it "Balrog"!!

I just call mine Studio Xeon.... but I'm a geek cause my last one was Studio G5, and the one before that Studio G3.... etc etc.
