Been following the Pro forum here for some time, and it's time for me to pull the trigger on something and wanted to get some honest input on what might best suite me.
Work as a music director at a large church and do audio and media work from my computer system -- and am looking to have a Mac system in my office to work with along with my PC system (just got a new HP Z820 workstation -- very god machine). I use Adobe CC, Logic (currently on my MBP), ProTools, and would like to have a larger format to work with FCP, but wouldn't want to do this from my laptop.
So what I am torn on is the current Mac Pro or going with the high-end iMac (i7 with the 680MX) with some external storage?? Understand the issues of expandability and so forth -- just wanted some input, and appreciate the consideration.
