Mac pro not booting correctly

Hello, I got a cMP, a 3.46 12-core 5,1.

There's a couple of issues. Once it does not turn on when I hit the power button; I hear a click sometimes and sometimes not. Sometimes it will turn on after the third try. I have reset the SMC. After letting the power cable unhooked for a little bit it will usually start up after a couple of presses.

Another problem is that it does not sleep. When I hit sleep, the monitor turns off like expected the but the power button light does not pulsate.

I am thinking it could be the power supply. Maybe the power button.

It is not the button! Take it to service ASAP otherwise you risk having your motherboard fried if it isn't already!
tldr; it is the power supply or the motherboard or both.
