This is a problem I have never been able to resolve. I like to be able to remotely wake my Mac Pro over my LAN so have "Wake for network access" enabled in system preferences.
The problem is the Apple scheduled RTC's that happen every 2 hours - the Mac should theoretically go back to sleep after these (according to Apple), but it doesn't. Once woken it stays awake.
This was never a problem prior to Snow Leopard. Waking over LAN was a simple process.
Anyone any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? Cheers.
