I know that the lack of Leopard Pre-Installed has been a source of evidence for an impending update, though now it's been changed on apple's online store. Nonetheless, the apple where I live has nothing but 10.5 drop-in models. Has anyone actually bought a Mac Pro that had leopard pre-installed?

Given the # of issues many apps, plug-ins, and 3rd party hardware have had with the newest cat, we'd be better off if even the updated MP shipped with 10.4 with 10.5 as a drop in. It's a good thing, not a bad thing for it to start with Tiger. Maybe in a few months...

Right now, there's a lot that can go wrong, but little that Leopard can really offer that Tiger can't do (I don't mean cutesy widgety type stuff).

Reliability vs. novelty.

Take your pick.

well...

That's a little off-topic, but I'll bite. I find Leopard to be faster and more stable than Tiger, as do the 3 "normal" mac users I know that have migrated. The only issue any of us have had is not being able to use adobe reader because adobe hasn't updated their software.
