Mac Pro Quad Question

Hey all,

Looking at getting a stock Mac Pro 2.66. It says 8GB max. Now I'm wondering... There are 4GB sticks of DDR3 ECC Server memory (e.g. http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=41256&vpn=KVR1066D3D4R7S%2F4G&manufacture=Kingston). Does anyone have any experience getting 16GB to work on it?

Yes, it does support 16Gb. Apple offers only 8Gb at the moment, but you can use 3rd party RAM.
