I typically use dual screens (soon to be 2 20-22inch lcd displays) in aperture and other common tasks as well. I was wondering if i would see a huge performance difference between hooking each monitor up to a 7300 or hooking both of them up to a x1900. Basically, the question is, is it worth the $80 more for the x1900?

Yes, because the Radeon X1900 XT is the best mac graphics card other than the more expensive nVidia Quadro FX 4500. One ATI Radeon X1900 XT can run up to 2x 30" Displays. Two ATI Radeon X1900 XTs can run up to 4x 30" or smaller displays.

$80 more ???? The x1900 is a $250 option upgrade through Apple I believe.

Come on everyone, READ! The OP isn't comparing a 7300 to a 1900....he/she is comparing 2 7300s, one monitor on each card, to a single 1900. Must be in educational discount or something too since it appears to be a $100 difference in the normal store. I have no idea which is better but have wondered as much.
