I just installed a new SSD into my Mac Pro for Bootcamp (Win 7 64) purposes. I previously had windows on a regular 7200rpm drive which was working fine.

Since replacing with the SSD and installing Windows 7 last night, I have noticed that once in a while when I select the Windows drive from the boot screen (after holding Option), the system totally locks up - mouse cursor won't move, keyboard does nothing, etc.

I have already reset the PRAM/NVRAM but the issue still remains.

Any advice?

FYI my Mac Pro specs:

OSX Lion 10.7.2

2010 Mac Pro
3.33ghz hex core
12gb RAM
ATI 5870
Drive Bay 1: 240gb ssd (OSX)
Drive Bay 2: 1tb hdd (storage)
Drive Bay 3: 1tb hdd (time machine)
Drive Bay 4: 256gb ssd (Windows) - this is the new drive

Both of my SSDs are mounted in an Icy Dock.

Thanks!
