Hi

My mid 2012 Mac pro is randomly restarting. At first it restarted couple of times while powering up. Then the machine ran for a while and shut itself down. Pressing the power button only spun up the GPU fan. The diag LEDs looked okay while powered down. Only the the battery indicator was lighting up and when up and running, all other LEDs were green. So what could be the problem? It makes a clicking sound and restarts itself. I've reseated the RAMs so I guess nothing is wrong there. Please help!! Could it be the hard drive or the PSU?
Just to add to it, sometimes the machine boots into a white screen with only a mouse pointer on the screen though a screen shot shows the actual desktop. a reboot fixes this issue momentarily.

Thanks in advance for your help.
