Hey, Im going to be buying a Mac Pro soon (Just going for the normal model, then adding ram and hard drives later) are the refurbs on the apple store normally pretty good? Im just a bit weary of them. If anyone could give advice it would be much appreciated. Also Iv heard the stock ATi card is better than the 8800 for video editing? Is this true, Thanks

I don't see why not. Unless if you order an HD 2600 and you receive one upgraded to an 8800 GT. That'd be against your wishes, but if you got more RAM or a bigger HDD, that's what the Refurb Lottery is all about!

Cool! Then it sounds like thats what Im going to do! Thanks, also do you know roughly what the speeds of the nehalem processors are going to be and if they are really going to be as major as everyone makes them out to be? Thanks
