However, there were a few people who had posted about trying to decide between the i7 iMac & the Mac Pro and that price would be a factor..

I've been checking the refurb lists fairly regularly over the last month and yesterday was the first time I saw the 2010 Mac Pro available, so I bought one.

Saving almost 400 bucks on a new(er) machine was significant to me so perhaps it would be relevant to the other potential buyers on this forum

but, since post count seems to = intelligence/experience level, I must have no idea what I'm talking about

If you would have fleshed out your post a little, it would have come off as informative instead of "this is what I just bought and I needed to share." I read it a couple of times before it clicked that you are trying to share news.

Don't mind them. Mac Pro users are the smuggest of all Apple users. They give Mac users a bad rap.

Also, a lot of them are jealous that they are stuck with older machines. LOL @ users using PPC's.
