Hi,

Now and then my Mac Pro spontaneously 'wakes' up from sleep mode. It seems to do this randomly. I also noticed that the Apple wireless keyboard gets disconnected, especially when I'm watching movies etc. I have to hit the keys in order get a connection again (the green light lights up). Is it possible that the Mac notices the loss of connection and 'wakes up'? Anyone any ideas?
Applications that are open at the time are safari, mail, ical, adium. But they shouldn't trigger something since the internet connection is disabled on sleep (right :p?)

Thx.

I've posted on this myself before.
When your BT devices lose connection it will wake the MacPro from sleep. You can tell the MacPro to not allow BT devices to wake the machine but my question was always "then how do you wake it otherwise?" I just haven't bothered to dive into it yet.

Press the power button.

Thx for the comments. It's probably the keyboard BT that wakes it up. i changed the properties now. Thx!
