Hey folks..wondering if anyone can help
Lately, at least once a day, my Mac Pro freezes up. I can move the mouse around, but I cant click on anything or type. Ive left it alone for at least a half hour at one point, in case some program was just thinking but that didnt help. I have no idea why its freezing up .. when I check the error log file in my library folder after I reboot, I get this
Feb 6 12:28:35.980133 localhost discoveryd_helper[136]: Basic RemoteControl com.apple.discoveryd_helper Starting XPC Server
Feb 6 12:28:35.980567 localhost discoveryd_helper[136]: Detailed RemoteControl com.apple.discoveryd_helper XPC connection 0x7fa3a2d00010: start (pid=48, <unknown> not root)
Anyone have any idea how I can fix that, in plain total-noob english?
Im running 10.10.2, on an early 2009 mac pro, 2.66 quad core xenon, 10 gigs of ram, ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB
