Mac Pro & VMs

Hi,
I have a Mac Pro running 10.8.4 and I would like to run a VM of Lion 10.7 in Virtualbox. I can't see how I am supposed to do it. Does i need to use VMWare instead? Has anyone else done this.

Nope because i'm sure someone here has done it before and someone normally helps me out here...
