So I called 1800-myapple and I spoke to very kind lady who talked me through what I needed and then she asked if it was offered to me, and I said no, she spoke to her systems engineer who told her that they should of, and she said I should call the apple store where I bought it, and ask them to install it for free as they didn't offer that option. Should I? I'm just worried about the poor kid who sold it to me - he obviously screwed up but... what do yo think I should do?

Oh, and she told me to talk to the manager.

It's up to you if you want to talk to the store manager.

I bought my Mac Pro on June 2 and was not offered the card either. I did go to the store and buy the card and they offered to install it but I refused. It took 10 minutes to install it myself, it's very easy. You should do it yourself as well.
